Shellian O'Gere's Profile

Shellian is a seasoned corporate lawyer and business manager, with a strong background in Government and Quasi-Government entities, notably serving as Legal Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the multi-million-dollar Petrocaribe Development Fund, which was a key player in the debt buy-back arrangement in 2015 that significantly reduced Jamaica’s debt-to-GDP ratio, contributing to the macroeconomic stabilization of the island’s economy.

Her legal acumen, negotiation skills and razor-sharp mind for business process management have been essential to DAAS’ organizational strength and operational systems.

Shellian as an MBA in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems, Marketing and Human Resources, University of the West Indies Mona School of Business 2011. A Certificate in Legal Education, University of the West Indies 2006. Bachelor of Laws University of the West Indies 2004 and a Bachelor of Arts, Psychology University of the West Indies 2000.

In addition to the above-mentioned qualifications, she has completed supplemental courses, Project Management, Real Estate Sales, Conflict Resolution, Corporate Strategic Planning, Human Resource Management, Enterprise Risk Management, and Forensic Audit which has equipped her with the requisite skills to mitigate against potential risks to DAAS and its clients.
